Description

A sorta-sequel to Sonic Chaos, Sonic The Hedgehog:  Triple Trouble had Sonic go up against Dr. Robotnik, Knuckles the Echidna, and Knack the Weasel.  This was also the first Sonic game where getting smacked didn't make you lose all your Rings (provided you had more than 30 or 50 of them).
